Grampian Hosts Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber PM Exchange

Grampian Hills Apartments PM ExchangeThe team at Grampian Hills Apartments had the honor of hosting a PM Exchange with the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce on Thursday. The clouds parted and made it a perfect evening for an outdoor party with amazing food from Farrington Place and great live music by Mike and Michael Caschera, of Family Ties.

Everyone enjoyed tours of our renovated apartments, brand new dog park, outdoor pool, fitness center, and club house. One lucky guest went home with a gift basket of wine and other treats. We are so proud of our 46 year relationship with the Chamber and thankful for the great turnout.

Maintenance Satisfaction Surveys

Grampian Hills ApartmentsWe strive to take excellent care of our residents and the community at Grampian Hills Apartments. Our maintenance team has over 40 combined years of experience and is available 24/7 for emergency calls. In order to provide the very best attention to our residents, we follow up every completed service call with a satisfaction survey. It’s so nice to read the kind words and compliments.

Thank you to the team at Grampian for continuing the good work!

Keep Your Resolutions at Grampian Hills Apartments!

Keep Your Resolutions at Grampian Hills ApartmentsIt’s that time of year when many of us resolve to get in shape and shed a few pounds. Those of us at The Manor Group are part of that group of resolution makers and struggle with keeping up with our goals once the first few weeks of January have passed.

A commonly heard excuse for not going to the gym is lack of time. We are all super busy with kids, jobs and Netflix, right? Fortunately, we offer 24-hour access to our fitness center. It’s already free to our residents but we make sure it’s open all the time. No holiday closures or bad weather delays! Plus, if Netflix is still taking up too much of your free time, we provide complimentary WIFI so you can get your binge on while you work your bulge off!

Another way to keep yourself on track is to find a buddy. Walking club, Zumba classes and weight loss meetings are just a few of the wonderful community activities we have hosted so residents can get help in reaching their goals. Tell us what would help you stay accountable.

We wish you a fit and healthy 2017 and hope your resolutions become good habits. Remember that our pool season is just a few months away!

Holiday Traditions at Grampian Hills Apartments

Holiday Traditions at Grampian Hills ApartmentsDecember brings warm holiday traditions that are anticipated each year. A favorite annual event for Eva Waldman, Manager at Grampian Hills Apartments, is called “Dress the Kids.” Last Friday was her seventh year participating in this day of giving.

Over 150 low-income school children in the Williamsport area were invited to spend a morning with volunteers who took them to Wal-Mart where new coats, shoes and clothes were waiting for them. They were treated to lunch and video games at an area arcade. A surprise visit from Santa brought gifts for each child- backpacks filled with snacks and goodies. The event is organized by wonderful volunteers such as Eva and generous donations from local businesses. The time Eva spends with the kids is truly one of the highlights of her holiday season.

Grampian Hills Apartments Gives Back

Grampian Hills Apartments Charity Chili CookoffAt Grampian Hills Apartments, we consistently strive to explore new ways of giving back to the community. This Fall we hosted a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Charity Chili Cook-Off and had our residents compete for the title of Master Chili Maker.

We sampled a delicious assortment of contest entries and finally decided on two winners! Congratulations to Sally and Jim with their “Wimpy Turkey Chili” and Racheal with her “White Chicken Chili.”

A 50/50 raffle was held with all the earnings made from cook-off ticket sales. Our raffle winner, Jim L., graciously decided to donate over half of his winnings back to the charity.

We are genuinely proud of our residents and what they continually accomplish for society!

Welcome Back Eva!

Grampian Hills Apartments' ManagerGrampian Hills is so happy to have Eva Waldman back as our property manager.

Eva started at Grampian Hills Apartments as a Resident Manager in October 2002 and throughout her career with the Manor Group she has been a Regional Manager to several complexes in PA and WV.

She is proud of her beautiful daughter Emily who just started her first year of college at West Virginia University to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy.

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, entertaining, traveling, spending time with family and friends and hitting the links on the golf course. If you haven’t had the chance to meet Eva, stop in and say hello!

Fall in Love with Our Maintenance Team!

Grampian Hills Maintenance TeamIf you ask our residents what they love most about living at Grampian Hills Apartments many will tell you it’s our wonderful maintenance team! Here at Grampian Hills Apartments our main focus is customer service and making sure our residents are taken care of, which includes apartment maintenance. Our maintenance team’s main priority is to solve any obstacle in a thorough and speedy manner.

Whether it is a clogged drain, burned out lightbulb or a jammed patio door, our team members are on the job within the day. Unlike regular maintenance technicians that require you to take off work and let them in your house, with your permission, our team can make a service call while you carry on with your day. Our technicians bring card to leave at your door after each call. This allows our residents to know when a member has stopped in and explains how they have resolved the concern.

There is also no need to worry about after hours calls. With our 24-hour emergency maintenance we always have a team member on call to help with lock-outs and other urgent service requests.

Shared Holiday Traditions

Turkey Fruit PlatterThe holidays are approaching and it’s a great time to share some of our family traditions.

Stephanie, a member of our office team at Grampian Hills Apartments, likes to get creative with her holiday meals. Last year, she and her daughters created a healthy and fun turkey platter from fresh fruit. It was simple to make and they enjoyed time together in the kitchen. The holidays are a perfect time to make family memories!
